Cough & cold while breastfeeding

Uy mama, parang flu or worse kasi yung symptoms mo kaya talaga dapat mag-check ka with your doc ASAP para sure kung okay lang baby while you're breastfeeding, most cough and cold meds are actually safe habang nagpapasuso, pero better na ma-confirm lang ng doctor what's best for you. A few of us here had similar "binat" episodes, and honestly paracetamol is okay pero if it's repeating and your throat's getting worse, you might need something stronger na prescribed talaga, hindi lang OTC. In the meantime, lots of water, warm lemon with honey, and rest lang if you can, your baby will still be protected kahit may cough ka kasi the antibodies pass through your milk, which is actually good for him.
