Restime.. diarrhea

Hay, first time mom struggles talaga ito! Restime is usually for constipation so it's expected na mag-poop si baby after taking it, but 3x a day every time after 30 mins sounds like it might be a bit much, like baka overactive na ang digestive system niya. I'd really suggest checking back with her doctor about this, kasi ang diarrhea if it continues can dehydrate her quickly, at alam mo naman kung gaano kalaki ang risk dyan sa babies. A few of us moms have experienced na kailangan i-adjust ang dosage or timing, so definitely don't hesitate to message the pedia or go back for a follow-up kasi siya lang ang makakalagay ng tamang adjustment for your baby's needs.

Restime can cause loose stools kasi it's a stool softener, so kung 30 mins after each dose may poop si baby, that's actually normal and expected, pero kung super watery na or may mucus/blood, or kung laging inconsolable after, definitely check with your doctor agad kasi need ma-assess kung okay lang or kailangan i-adjust ng dosage. A few of my mum friends had the same concern with their babies, at ang doc nila nag-adjust slightly ng timing or amount, so don't hesitate to call your pedia about it, they'd rather know!
