Is PCOS Genetic?

Hi mama! From what I've learned, PCOS does seem to run in families, a few of us sa mommy group have it, and both my friend's mom at sister ay may PCOS din, so there's definitely something genetic there. But honestly, it's not as simple as "you definitely get it if your mom has it" kasi maraming factors pa like lifestyle, weight, at hormones na nakakaapekto, so hindi guaranteed pa rin kahit may family history. Best talaga na i-check mo with your OB or endocrinologist if you're worried kasi they can do proper testing at explain kung ano exactly ang situation mo, deserve mo ng personalized advice, hindi lang guesswork!
