NUCHAL FOLD THICKNESS

Hello po ask ko lang po if normal po ba yung 1.0cm nuchal fold thickness at 24 weeks? Wala po kase OB ko kanina. Monday pa po balik. Nakalagay naman po sa dulo ng result no gross congenital anomaly at the time of scan. Kaso sa Google parang iba ang nagbabasa ko or mali lang ako ng pagkaintindi. Sana normal lahat. Pa notice po. 😔 Salamat po.

Ay mama, I understand the worry kasi ganyan talaga kapag may numbers sa ultrasound results na hindi natin ma-gets! Based sa result mo, ang important part is na "no gross congenital anomaly", yan ang green light from your doctor sa scan, so that's reassuring na. Definitely ask your OB on Monday para ma-explain properly ang nuchal fold measurement mo at peace of mind mo, kasi sila lang ang makaka-properly interpret in context ng full picture ng baby mo, honestly a few of us din nag-panic sa ultrasound results before kasi iba ang pag-basa online versus what our OB explained, hehe. For now try not to stress too much, and Monday darating na agad para sa clarification mo. Sending you calm vibes!
