Oh dear, sending you lots of strength, this must be so worrying! From what I've heard, on-and-off spotting with placenta previa major at 30 weeks is unfortunately quite common, and some mums have had bleeding episodes at both 30 and 32 weeks with no clear trigger at all, not from anything they did wrong. Someone in my mum group mentioned that their doctor advised complete pelvic rest, including no intercourse, because even that can bring on bleeding with a low-lying placenta. The tricky part is that some mums sail through with very little spotting while others have more frequent episodes, so it really varies from person to person, which makes it hard to predict. Either way, any fresh bleeding or clots is worth a call to your OB or a trip to the hospital to get checked out properly, please don't wait on that one.
