Gestational Diabetes

Hi. Pinatest agad ng Dr. ko yung Glucose ko at 8weeks. Tapos 95mg yung result, within the normal range naman sabi sa lab result. But Gestational Diabetes daw agad yun sabi ni Dra. Possible po ba to be diagnosed at 8weeks pa lang?

Honestly, 95 mg/dL is normal talaga based sa lab range, so that's confusing na sabihin gestational diabetes agad, usually GD screening is done around 24-28 weeks pa lang, not at 8 weeks, kaya I'd really suggest asking your doctor to explain more clearly kung bakit niya na-diagnose agad or kung baka may other reason siya? You're doing the right thing by being proactive about this and following up, maingat ka talaga sa health mo and baby's, and that's what matters! Keep monitoring and don't hesitate to get a second opinion if you need clarity.
