From what I know, if may PhilHealth ka and employed, mostly covered na ang CS sa public hospital, pero still may out-of-pocket expenses depende sa hospital and kung may complications, kaya best talaga to call the OB ward directly para malaman exact amount sa specific hospital mo, hindi lang estimate. A few of us first-time moms were surprised na may additional charges pa rin for medicines, supplies, or anesthesia even with PhilHealth, so prepare a buffer din just in case!
