Do you parents tried to DIY your child's birthday?

For my second baby, yes. I realized it was a lot cheaper plus I was able to really choose the style and mood that I wanted. The party was not that big since we only had around 30 guests but we were the ones who decorated the entire venue. I just got some inspirations from Pinterest for a baby girl's party.
