Hi. I am a new mom but also relatively young so I can recall the heavy load of school homework. I believe there should be a balance. Homeworks are good to recall the lessons and develop a disciplined study habit but it should be kept at a managable amount. I think if your child received a lot of homework from school, you can help them with these and at the same time learn how to manage their time so they can still relax afterwards.
