don't worry, my husband and I ignore too. do whatever you feel is okay for you. honestly, there's no right or wrong. if you feel like you want to ignore your child for a while so that you can take a breather to figure out why, please do so. you know best on what to do at the spur of the moment

sometimes distractions can help to stop toddler fussing.. my toddler likes to listen to songs, sometimes I sang to him and that calms him down

Just give him a hug or divert his attention my son starts to do this, they are having hard time and they can’t control their emotions yet
