Hi parents, my lo jus merlion 3 times continuously due to cough and alot of fatty indigested milk came out. Feeling so sad now...like what would have been inside him to help him gain weight got vomited out...do such milk get absorbed? ?

Hi. This happens occasionally when the child is unwell. The digestion of milk begins as soon as it reaches the stomach because of the gastric secretions. If the milk was not curdled, it mean that the milk was still in the food pipe. If I am guessing it correctly , this happened immediately after a feed. In that case, your lo just vomited a small portion of milk that he drank. Consult your doctor if the vomiting persists, becomes projectile, or is accompanied by high fever. Hope it never comes to it. Do feed your child in portion, Feed halfway and burp him well and let him drink again
