Ay, congrats sa implant! Generally, the implant is very effective right away, but honestly para sa peace of mind mo, best to confirm with your OB kung kailan talaga siya fully effective, bawat clinic may slight differences sa timing depende sa insertion at cycle mo. A few of my mum friends who got implants were told to wait a week or use backup protection, so better safe than sorry na lang talaga!
