Aw, I know how scary it feels when the ultrasound shows something different from what you expected, lalo na first pregnancy pa! Honestly, short femur at dating changes are things you really need to talk through with your OB directly kasi sila ang makakaintindi ng buong picture ng baby mo, sometimes it's just genetic (marami sa amin Filipinas na maliit ang bones, ganun lang talaga!), sometimes it needs monitoring, pero hindi pwedeng i-assume from an online chat lang, you know? A few of us mums na nag-worry din sa similar findings, ang solution talaga was getting a second opinion from another OB or a maternal-fetal medicine specialist para ma-clarify ang dating ng baby at kung kailangan ng closer follow-ups. The weight estimate also has a margin of error (yun ang +/- 267 part), so don't panic yet, pero please don't delay talking to your doctor, okay? Kailangan niya makita ang actual ultrasound images para mag-explain ng maayos. Breathe, mama, most cases are okay, pero peace of mind mo importante din!
