Ang dilation and curettage (D&C) ay medically necessary procedure pero ang recovery at emotional side is another thing entirely, physically expect spotting and cramping for a few days, tapos usual naman ang discharge; emotionally, iba-iba, some moms say parang lag sila for weeks, iba naman mas nakakapag-move on faster kaya wag magpressure sa sarili. Important talaga to follow your doctor's post-care instructions (rest, avoid heavy lifting, no sexual activity for a bit) and if may heavy bleeding, fever, o infection signs, go back to your OB right away. If struggling emotionally, totally valid yan and okay mag-reach out sa doctor or counselor, maraming moms dito sa community na nag-experience din and mas nakaka-comfort talking to someone.
