NIPT Testinf

Nurse called me saying i have high risk for 22q11 deletion. Is the test accurate? I will still keep the baby, but is there any chance it’s false result ?

NIPT accuracy is 99%, highly unlikely that the result would be false

    Was told nipt test detect Down syndrome 99%. However 22q11. Deletion is high risk and not confirm. 180 type of sickness falls under 22q11. Such as adhd or low calcium too mild and hard to detect till baby is born..
