Baby Movement at Week 19

Is it normal to sometimes feel it and sometimes to not feel it for days? I am a first time mom so pretty anxious about this. And I start drinking milk for mom twice a day and totally reduce my water intake, not sure if its a good move cuz I feel like I am having too much liquid. Does the lack of plain water affect baby movement too? #bantujawab #askmommies

At 19 weeks it's still quite early and movements can be really inconsistent, especially as a first time mum since you might not recognise all the kicks yet, some days feel clearer than others, so what you're experiencing sounds pretty normal. That said, if it helps put your mind at ease, might be good to mention it at your next PD visit and they can check everything is fine. On the milk thing, you definitely still need plenty of plain water alongside the milk for mum since hydration is really important during pregnancy, so maybe balance it out rather than cutting water completely, your body needs both. Don't stress too much about this affecting movement right now, but staying well hydrated in general is always the safest bet.
