Only seeing gestational sac in 6 weeks ultrasound

I understand this feels worrying. At 6 weeks, sometimes the scan shows mostly just the gestational sac, but you really need to see your doctor or gynae to check if everything is progressing as it should be, they can date the pregnancy properly and do a follow-up scan if needed. Please don't wait on this one, better to get checked out and put your mind at ease.

Yes it’s normal. Doctor will ask you come back for another scan when you’re week 7-8. That’s when heartbeat can be detected.
