Kahit may mix feeding ka, ang lactational amenorrhea ay maaaring mag-extend pa rin especially kung significant ang breastfeeding mo pa rin, particularly on weekends at nights, some of us mums didn't get periods back until 10-12 months pa even with combo feeding kasi ang prolactin levels ay nag-stay high pa rin. Those bleeding episodes at 2 months post-partum ay baka breakthrough bleeding lang from the pills, hindi talaga regular menstruation, kaya it's not uncommon to have that irregular pattern then nothing for months after. That said, para ma-peace of mind mo, better check in with your OB just to confirm everything's on track, especially since you're on pills for family planning, they can verify kung normal lang ang delayed period mo or if may adjustments needed sa method mo.
