Has anyone tried NewBubs Confinement or have any confinement agency to recommend or warn against?

Hi V! I can share what I've found about NewBubs.They are a relatively newer agency but have been getting positive feedback from mummies. They are MOM-licensed and all nannies are handpicked through a rigorous face-to-face selection process done in Malaysia, followed by structured training before placement. One mummy who engaged them for her November 2023 baby shared that the coordinator Lloyd was responsive and genuine, and quickly found a suitable nanny even when her EDD changed due to an early birth at 37 weeks. Her nanny was experienced, organised, had excellent hygiene standards and was warm from day one. Packages start from $3,888 and include consultation support, work permit and insurance application, and unlimited free nanny replacement. That unlimited replacement policy is a big green flag as it shows they stand behind their matching. They do seem like a solid choice especially for first-time parents who need hand-holding through the whole process. Would love to hear from any other mummies here who have used them!

I haven't tried NewBubs myself, but a friend used them for her second baby and she was pretty happy with the meals and how punctual the confinement lady was, though she felt the pricing was a bit steep compared to some smaller agencies. Honestly confinement agencies can be hit or miss depending on what your family needs most, some people prioritize good cooking and nutrition, others want someone really hands-on with baby care, so it might help to ask other mums in your area which agencies they used and what worked for them before committing.
