Is it necessary to send my child to pre-school at 2-3yo? If not is there any disadvantages? Like hard to catch up the syllabus compare to others. Thinking to send her directly to K1.

I think that if you are an active mummy who can afford the time to bring baby out n develop simple activities at home daily.. Reading, singing , dancing .. N do some play dates for socializing, it's perfectly ok. From experience, if your child enjoys interaction and responds well, he/she can start formal schooling at kindergarten. No short changing there. But do keep abreast of basic numeracy n literacy standards and ensure he/she has fun!
