Ay, alam mo yan is really hurtful kahit na-joke na lang, lalo na kung alam mong heart mo talaga ang education para sa future nila, at honestly your approach is so mature, you chose kindness over being right, which is harder pero mas valuable pa. A few of us moms have similar situations with friends or even family na hindi nag-value ng education the same way, at ang nangyari lang is we just stopped engaging sa topic with them kasi different values talaga, walang point pa ng mag-debate. Your reasons are pure, exploration, learning, choices, guidance, yan na yung essence, di ba, hindi ito about bragging or status, kaya okay lang na hurt ka pero don't let it shake your conviction as parents because your little one will feel that confidence.
