CAS Ultrasound at 20 weeks

Question

May nagpa checkup po ba rito sa Nova District Hospital? Nag request kasi OB ko ng CAS ultrasound and upon calculating kung babalik ako ng May 12 dala dala ang result, sa May 10 exactly 20 weeks na ako.Kaso mga napagtatanungan kong ultrasound center puros 24 weeks lang tinatanggap nila for CAS ultrasound.Pwede kaya ako bumalik sa Nova District nang hindi napapagawa yung nirequest ng OB?Please if may alam po kayo reply po.Thank you#pleasehelp #advicepls #firsttimemom

Hi mama! Honestly, better call Nova District directly kasi baka may specific requirements sila for CAS at 20 weeks, sometimes clinics have their own protocols na hindi same sa iba, at ang OB mo naman ang nag-refer so sigurado siyang may reason why 20 weeks specifically. A few of us mums dito ay nag-encounter din ng gaps like this between what our doctor wants versus what centers accept, so don't hesitate to ask kung pwedeng mag-accommodate or kung may alternative date na okay both sa clinic and sa OB mo.
