Ay Mommy, first of all congrats na nakaabot ka ulit ng bahay, that's a big relief! Honestly, maraming cases na katulad mo na nag-stay at 1cm lang for weeks bago mag-progress, so nakaka-encourage na yan. One of my mum friends was admitted at 31 weeks din with 1cm cervix, and her cervix didn't budge for almost 3 weeks, she made it to 37+2 and delivered naturally pa! So it's definitely possible. For the GDM diet, most of the mums I know swear by eating small, frequent meals (like 5-6 times a day) with protein at every meal, chicken, eggs, fish, tofu, paired with veggies and controlled carbs (brown rice, oats in portions). Avoid sugary drinks and desserts obviously, but some girls say yogurt with berries works para sa cravings. Since you're managing both preterm risk and GDM, really important na consistent ka sa meals at timing, it helps stabilize both the blood sugar and the contractions. Take your meds as prescribed, and don't skip the monitoring visits, your OB will watch kung may changes sa cervix. You're doing great na nag-rest at nag-follow through! But definitely ask your doctor for a specific meal plan tailored to your numbers, since GDM management can vary person to person. Sending you strength, Mommy!
