My period has been delayed but the pregnancy test is negative. Should I visit the doctor or wait for another week?

I had experienced this case before. Sometimes , I test it few times. Sometimes my period delayed for 1.5 months with negative result. Take sometimes but if u feel doctor can give you explanation you can also visit doctor.
