Hi Jaymee, just like you. I did the same thing to my daughter. When she was in playschool her classes starts at 8am til 11:30am she ride the bus on the way home. I prepare her for this since she will be doing the same thing whe she enters grade school. During the first week of regular classes. It was very tough for her not to adjust from the time & time travel, but more on how can she manage the homeworks. Her classes starts at 7:15-1:10pm for grade 1. And at the third & fourth quarter there will be days her classes will be longer. For example on Tuesdays & Thursdays her classes will be from 7:15-2:00pm with 6:30am mass. She even take the bus on the way home and mostly arrived at 2:30-3pm the latest. She still has energy for playing and homeworks. Normally we never encounter problems in terms of the time as the school promise to us they will make our daughters enjoy the rest of the day without noticing the time. And indeed it's true! Believe me she will not notice it! Your daughter will enjoy playing with her classmates during break time. :) She will adjust. Although the moms are normally the most worried one. I feel that way too before thinking how can she survived her first year in grade school. But indeed she was able to survived with flying colors! Straight A's from first up to last quarter of the school year. :) Now we are in Grade 2 and her classes starts at 7:15-2:10pm. By the way she's only 6 years old turning 7 this year. :) I'm sure your daughter can too! :) Just encourage her and don't show her you are concern about the time. Encourage her that she will have plenty of friends and that means more play time especially during PE. :)
Firstly, it is important to talk to your child and explain the new school curriculum. If she is aware, then ask her if she is excited or nervous. Answer any of her questions patiently and thoughtfully. How you talk about the new school will shape and influence how your child views it. Whatever routines you have previously, continue them, such making your child's favourite breakfast. It's always good to offer your child a little extra attention and to minimise any changes within the home. You can also try role playing at home as how to her new school would be like. Most importantly, during the transition, be patient with your child. If he or she acts up, be kind and allow time to adjust. Make sure the child gets enough rest and sleep as a time of change can be really stressful.
It can be a big adjustment to go from a progressive play-school to a regular grade one classroom. During changes, I recall having to make modifications for myself. To help your daughter adjust more easily, it's important to keep lines of communication open, encourage her to communicate her thoughts, and create a routine. Regarding managing the workload, Edubirdie https://essays.edubirdie.com/spss-assignment-help has shown to be immensely beneficial. It's similar to having a trustworthy friend to help you with homework and maintain good scores. So let's get started on adjusting to new school settings and making sure your kid has a seamless educational experience!

May I also add that the only problem we encounter is that she is mostly hungry after school. Because during break time she prefer to play instead of finishing her food. So be sure to prepare her snacks when she gets home. There was a time I write a note to the Teacher In Charge to kindly monitor her consumption of food and refrain her from playing without finishing her Lunch at least. haha! Nap time will be impossible though. But finish everything after she had snacks, give her bath, have dinner early and put her to sleep as early as 7pm. In that way she has enough energy for the entire day at school the following day. :)
You can start setting a sleep routine for her a week before classes resume. :) Goodluck!
For me, everytime I pass by my daugther's future primary school, I will tell her this is her future primary school and she gets very excited each time. I also tried to tell her real situations in primary school, e.g. longer study hours, buy food from canteen, large sized classroom, CCA, new friends and etc. that she will encounter in primary school. I can say children adapt very fast in new environment and I believe she will have no problem in adapting new environment and longer school hours. If she is having hard time to adapt, try to talk to her and shower her with more love during the transition.
