c- hysterectomy

Aiyoh, c-hysterectomy recovery is no joke lah, but got hope one, don't worry! My friend who went through emergency c-section plus hysterectomy said the first few days were really tough, more painful than she expected, and things like getting up from bed or even carrying light things felt super hard initially. Someone in my mum WhatsApp group also mentioned her body felt very different after, like sensitivity to cold, weak tummy, and certain everyday tasks suddenly become a big deal for quite a few weeks. But on the brighter side, my neighbour's sister had her hysterectomy done using a newer method (I think the doctor called it vNOTES or something like that) and she said recovery was actually much faster with less pain compared to the traditional way, so really depends on the procedure lah! Also heard from a few mummies that Dr Edwin Thia at KKH did a great job for their c-sect, so might be worth asking around for a good gynae you trust. Of course best is still to check with your own doctor or specialist who knows your full history, they can give you the most accurate picture for your specific situation, okay!
