Newborn sleeping arrangements

Hi mummies! Wondering if newborns should sleep in air conditioned room or with ceiling fan? Any mummies can share experience?

We turned on the aircon for 2-3hrs to cool the room & switch to ceiling fan for the rest of the night. Turning on the aircon for too long gave us "sinus" issues.
