Umable to urine

Hi mummies, My wife just had a vaginal delivery to my baby boy. However she is unable to urine on her own and have to use urine bag, could it be the over use of epidural? She was in great pain and had it topup afew times and reinsert again dueing delivery.

it's totally normal, for a first time mother , but doc/nurse will remove the urine bag the next day and ask her to try urine on her own .. if she try n still haven't come out. try pressing on her bladder slowly
