What worked for me was to regulate my breathing in between contractions + bringing my own heat pouch to place against my lower back. I gave birth naturally without any pain relief (not even laughing gas). 😊 Reason for having the heat pouch is because I realized during my 1st childbirth, as we lay on our back to give birth naturally, the pain pressed against my lower back which made the childbirth seemed painful. So when I went for my 2nd childbirth, I decided to bring my heat pouch and it really helped me ALOT in relieving the pain.
Just do more walking, squatting, up down stairs, sex, spicy food. But all of it depends whether baby's engaged by then cervix dilate. It can triggered your waterbag to burst, contractions kick in and you may go for natural delivery with no epidural, gas or assisted delivery/c section. Otherwise, if it doesn't go your plan birth or the way you want it then be prepared with other decision ahead.
