GDM- early delivery

Hi mummies. Saya nak tanya sikit bcz just finished my antenatal check up. I have GDM and the doctor said I have to deliver after 37 weeks maximum by 38 weeks the baby should be delivered. Is this common? I’m at 33 weeks now and I have around 4 weeks only more to go. Will I go through c-section if the baby is not born by 38 weeks?

my gynea said if GDM stabil with diet control can still wait till 40wks provided baby growth accordingly.tp kalau baby besar & u GDM with insulin or makan ubat, yes, max is 38 weeks.czer usually last option.dia akan cuba induce dulu.unless u mmg nk opt for elective czer.
