Honestly, the steam ones are reliable enough, a few of us just use the basic Tommee Tippee or Philips Avent steam sterilizers and they work great, no need for the UV unless you really want the extra peace of mind! The UV ones are nice if you travel a lot or want that extra layer, but most of us find the standard steam + dry does the job fine, and honestly the UV ones take up more space in the kitchen which is already packed lah when baby comes haha.
