What do the gynae check on 5week 5days?

Hi mummies 🙂 My menses 3days late so i took preggy kit to test.. so happy finally preggy naturally after trying to conceive 1yr4mths.. previously i went to kkh fertility dept(cos 1yr still no baby), they gave me folic acid & vitamin D tablets, been eating those since May 2024..😬 After getting knw preggy, i went polyclinic, she gave me 'iron' tablets. Wgen i google, its for those having nausea/vomit. Im not sure im having nausea or just normal sleepy dizziness..😬🤕i nvr vomit. Dr ask me to eat folic acid+ vitamin D+ iron tablet everyday.. Do u guys eating these too, during 1st trimester? Currently on my 5th week. I got refferal letter from polyclinic, to get subsidised at kkh. My 1st appt will b nxt monday, (5weeks 5days). Will they do vaginal ultrasound scan or abdomen scan?

yes i do take it.. they can do both scan actually.. depend if can see fetal by abdomen den there is no need vaginal.. mine was yesterday cannot see fetal as still early but see the york sac..

alhamdulillah that good.. but as for what i know iron tablet will be given when u at the 4 mths stage that is what i know coz alot of my friends take when their baby at 4mths.. as for me now i only take prenatal multivitamin of shelf which u can bought at pharmacy , folic acid & also dydrogesterone this prescribed to support the health of the lining, creating an environment for foetal growth.. Since im in still early stage they gave me two medicine frm kkh and prenatal multivitamin was the doctor who recommanded me to buy before i was trying to conceive.. u can also ask yr doctor about this.. im not sure why poly gave u iron tablet which i know only when u refer to hospital for check up they will provide more med.. i only know poly only provide folic acid when u tell them u pregnant... for now u can just stop taking the iron tablet just take whatever the doctor had advice u.. all the best in yr journey dear may Allah protect u and yr baby.. Mine scan will be on the 8 oct so excited..
