Brown discharge on and off

Hi mummies, I'm currently 7 weeks and second pregnancy. I previously miscarried at 21 weeks last year. This pregnancy around my 5th week i saw brown discharge on my liner about 20cents size. I have yet to go for my first appointment then so I called the clinic. Doctor did a vaginal scan, saw a gestational sac. Baby was very tiny hiding at the far most corner of the gestational sac. Doc said seems like a miscarriage is on the way or a threatened miscarriage. That was the only brown discharge I had. There was a little brown clumps too when Doctor removed the vaginal tube from below. 2 days later I had very light brown discharge. Also very tiny spot. Doc gave me progesterone pills. Take 2. 2 times a day. I've been taking it. Currently having severe food aversion. I can't seem to eat anything or keep anything down. I feel very nauseous. Not much vomiting but super nauseous. Everyday I'm worried. My appointment date got pushed to 2 weeks ahead. I have a toddler. Super active and clingy. He wants me to carry and I really feel so scared to carry him too. And that makes me feel so bad and terrible. Has anyone had brown discharge at 7 weeks?

Hi mum, I really understand how scary this must be, especially after what happened last year. But honestly, with the brown discharge still happening on and off and how worried you're feeling every day, this one better not wait, please call your clinic again or go to A&E now so they can check on baby and put your mind at ease, rather than waiting 2 weeks. In the meantime, try not to feel guilty about not carrying your toddler, your body is telling you something, and it's okay to ask your husband or someone else to help with that for now. You're already doing your best by taking the progesterone as prescribed. The severe nausea and food aversion are tough, but focus on small, frequent sips of water or what you can manage, and let your doctor know how you're coping when you see them. Sending you strength through this uncertain time.

hello there ! -hugs- I have brown discharge 2 weeks back(week 5-6). doctor gave me Duphaston pills and it went off after a few days. Feeling nausea and food aversion too, dropped 2++ kg in 2 weeks... Just went for a check today & doctor say all is ok. i have a toodler (coming to 2 yo soon) & he is extremely clingy as well, so I can understand... I've been asking him to sit on his tricycle instead of me carrying and it works for me (for now) . i co-sleep with him at night & he often moves around and at times, body slam me 🥲🥲 I need to be alert to move away hahahaha dont worry & rest as much as you can 💖
