Private Kkh Gynae

Question

Hi! All mummies! I’m currently on my 2nd trimester soon to reach 3rd trimester.. want to know more about getting private Gynae.. any recommendations at kkh? How’s the doctor service? And also about HL as well. For my first born I took subsidies doctor and did not take private doctor and worked throughout till my due date. Doctor actually told me that if I want to request for HL I have to go through private doctor not only that but I also do need a break when nearer to by due date 🥹.. anyone who took private doctor please do share information and your experience below the comment.. would really appreciate your help

For private KKH, Ive heard quite a few good things about Dr Seet Meei Jiun, mums say shes caring and attentive, which matters a lot especially when youre heading into the third trimester and just want someone who listens. Prof John Tee also comes up a lot; hes very experienced, and from what a friend shared, his C-section stitching is apparently impressively neat, junior doctors were apparently crowding around to admire it, which says something about his skill level. On the HL side, going private does generally give you more flexibility to have that conversation openly with your doctor, so if you feel you need the rest closer to your due date, its definitely worth bringing it up early rather than waiting. Both doctors seem well-regarded, though Id say just go with whoever you feel most comfortable talking to, since that relationship really matters over the course of your pregnancy.
