Hospitalization Leave during delivery

Hi Mummies! I will be inducing in SGH on 22/9 but am wondering if the doctors will issue Hospitalization Leave during the period of the stay and birth or will this be considered as the start of my Maternity Leave. Any one who has had prior experience, your advice is greatly appreciated! TIA!

I have also posted in SGH but the doctor says they can only issue HPL for me when i am warded to be induced for 3 days. Maternity leave starts once i have given birth.
