Private or public 1st appointment

Honestly, if you're set on delivering at TMC, going private from the start makes more sense because your private doc can manage your whole pregnancy and delivery there without the back-and-forth. Some mums do go public first for the cheaper checkups and then switch to private later, but then you're basically starting your pregnancy records again and your private doc at TMC won't have that continuity. It really depends on your budget lah, since private appointments are pricier, but if finances allow, straight to private saves you the hassle.

Congratulations! Usually people go public then private is to save money. If finances is a concern, you can consider doing that too.
