Breast pump

Hi mummies! Do you get manual/electric pump before giving birth and if yes, which pump do you recommend? Am considering between Pigeon/Hegen/Tommee Tippee!

Yup get the pump before giving birth and bring it to the hospital so that lactation consultant can teach you how to use correctly. Buy the flange insert after they measure your nipple size. If you measure on your own, add ~2mm cos it will engorge when pumped. I recommend to get 1 electric handheld as your main pump and 1 wearable for convenience and as backup. I'm using Real Bubee and Spectra.

Thank you!

I bought a week before birth but flange inserts during hospital stay. Bought babyexpress Bemine then switched to Befree (yields better) after 1m. I also use Hegen’s manual pump (given inside TMC’s hospital bag) when I have clog ducts.

Thank you!

Spectra S1 for home and Baby Buddha for work. Had the first since my firstborn 5 years ago and still works well. Just need to replace flanges and all the plastic parts for hygiene purpose.

Main pump (home use) would be Spectra S1 for me! This pump is good but bulky, hence not suitable to bring out. For wearable at work, I’m using Momcozy M5.

spectra s1 is the best for your main pump

Spectra Dual S is the best
