Hi mummies , dr told me my cervix open at 1cm now . Usually how long it will take to open up to 10cm ? #firstmom
I was walking around 2cm dilated. OB asked if I want to admit but I decided to wait. that was at 38 weeks. at week 39 I'm 3cm dilated and waterbag still full. decided to just do elective delivery. it's my first pregnancy too. on my admission day, nurses told me usually 1cm 1 hour. I was given meds for contraction at about 10.30am, by 12pm, I was already already 9cm dilated. so yup, maybe discuss with your OB what are the alternatives and/or what to expect.
Read moreBased on my experience for #1 it is long. I am at 3cm dilated with water bag still full for a week. Even after the induce and water bag break in the labour. I was not dilating fast. It took me more than 12hrs before it goes to 10cm.
Mine stays at 3 - 4cm even after 9 hours. Had to go for emergency csect.
