Usually a month before returning to work. But that also depends on ur supply if u got enough surplus, u can consider starting even earlier. It's also an ongoing effort to pump n store from work - work out the maths in the last months and gauge how many packs can u pump at office n latch n use from the fridge to meet baby demands. 6 months when they start solids, their milk intake will drop to abt 400-600. Yes, take out the frozen milk the night before to defrost
Yes. Bm can only be placed in the normal chilled section of the fridge for about 3 days, some websites qoute up to 8 days but i won't take the risk. If the freezer is a seperate compartment of the fridge, u should store in there and can last 6 months. Take note that the bm content changes with baby's age, so u may not want to have too much store otherwise baby will always be drinking a few months' ago milk
Hi! Yes, breastmilk stored in the freezer will last 3-6 months. If it's only in the refrigerator, it will only last 24 hours, and at room temperature, only 4 hours.
Definitely freezer or deep freezer. Breastmilk can only be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
