Yes it is normal! I had a really terrible nosebleed when I was week 27 which caused me to end up in the A&E ward as my nose bled/gushed out non-stop for close to 2 hours. I lost a lot of blood on that day. Consulted ENT doctor and he said it’s normal for pregnant women because our body needs to pump blood for 2 people and there’s 2 hearts in us. Hence, the pressure is higher. The nurse told me to stay away from hot places like directly under the sun, keep my body cool and eat lesser spicy food such as mala. Good to eat ice cream or yoghurt (provided if you do not have GD) to keep your body temperature cool too. I was prescribed this to keep my nose less dry. You can easily get it from Watsons, Guardian, Unity and Fairprice. (https://www.guardian.com.sg/neilmed-nasogel-dry-nose-spray-30ml-175545.html?page=1) dab some liquid on the cotton bud and swipe gently around your nostril where it’s dry. Also, do monitor if your baby is still moving or kicking as usual like what he/she does everyday! Hope it helps! Don’t worry mommy! ✨
