My 5.5months Baby Rejecting Cereal

Hi mummies, my baby is 5.5 months but I have alrdy introduced him avocado and cereal but out of sudden, today he rejected cereal.. And he is teething right now, feeling very cranky this two days. Is it normal or what can I do? Should I give up cereal or its only temporary he reject?? Any idea?
