I can really feel how scary this must be for you, especially going through it twice. The good news is that your baby's heartbeat is still strong, which is genuinely reassuring. From what I hear from other mums, first trimester bleeding with clots does happen to quite a few people, it's not uncommon, though it's definitely frightening when it occurs. A few mums I know went through similar episodes with heavy gushes and clots in the early weeks, and like you, their babies were fine during the scans; the doctors just advised strict bed rest until things settled. That said, every case is different, and since you're having recurrent episodes, it's really worth staying closely in touch with your doctor or specialist to rule out anything specific (like subchorionic haemorrhage or other conditions that sometimes cause this pattern) and to get personalised advice on what activity level is truly safe for you. Wishing you and your little one all the best, take it one day at a time, and don't hesitate to head to the hospital again if anything feels different.

I had on week 8 which was scary. was placed on HL for almost a month now but recently the gynae suspected it might be a cervical cyst causing the bleeding. thankfully baby is still growing

good to hear that your baby is growing well!! i did a check before, and there weren’t any cyst for me. so cyst possibility was omitted for me. but she did suspect that my uterus grew retrovertedly, and cos it’s expanding, so it could cause the vessels arnd it to burst. she did say that it will get better during 2nd tri. hopefully the vessels arnd the uterus will be more adaptive as the baby grow!
