Full time breastfeeding/latching and breasts feel soft and empty at 5w+

Don't worry, this is actually a really good sign! Around 5 weeks is exactly when supply starts to regulate, and soft breasts just mean your body has figured out the rhythm, you're not empty, you're just not engorged anymore. The best way to know your supply is actually fine is to check if baby is content between feeds, having plenty of wet and dirty nappies, and maybe even coming off the breast faster than before (that just means they've gotten more efficient at feeding). I remember being quite stressed about this myself until my confinement lady pointed out that my baby was feeding really well and gaining weight steadily, that's what actually matters, not how full the breasts feel. If you want extra reassurance though, definitely check in with your lactation consultant or GP, especially if baby seems hungry or isn't gaining weight like expected.
