Asking about GDM

Hi moms, I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant. Last week, I had a baby scan, and the doctor mentioned that my baby's tummy is slightly bigger than the head. I had pre-diabetes before pregnancy, which has led to gestational diabetes (GDM) during pregnancy. Besides exercising and controlling my diet, what else can I do? Has anyone else experienced this? Could you share your experiences? Did you have a natural birth or a C-section?

I had GDM during my pregnancy too, mummy ❤️ Besides watching my diet, I found that a short walk after meals helped my blood sugar levels a lot. My baby's tummy was measuring ahead as well, which made me worry, but with regular monitoring and good sugar control, everything turned out fine. I ended up having a vaginal birth, though I know other GDM mummies who had C-sections too. Try to focus on keeping your sugars within target and follow your doctor's advice. You've got this 💪💕
