Moms, please share your epidural experience. Have you ever wished you didn't get one? Why or why not?

My friend recommended against it. She said it's really the labor thing that hurts and when you experience it, the pain from crowning to birth will be just a piece of cake. Can't personally say anything about it, though. I'm a CS mama!
