Hi mum, I did try antenatal colostrum harvesting before and I brought the syringes along when I went into labour. Most hospitals here will usually accept it and help store it in the fridge or freezer for you, but I think it really depends on the ward and nurses so it’s good to inform them early when you check in. What I did was label everything clearly and keep it in a small cooler bag so it’s easy for the nurses to handle. If you’re unsure, just call your hospital beforehand and ask their exact process so you won’t stress on the day itself.
