Honestly my boy also rejected everything except the Pigeon ortho nipple he wanted, so I just went with it lah His teeth came in fine, no issues at all, I think the bigger thing is not letting them suck on it 24/7, especially once the teeth start coming in, so we limited it to bedtime and nap time only. The dentist said as long as it's not constant, especially after the first year, should be okay, but maybe worth checking with your pediatrician or dentist to be safe since setiap baby lain-lain! The ortho shape does help, tapi if your baby prefers the regular Pigeon one, that's also commonly used by lots of moms here and most kids turn out fine.
