Hi Mommies! Question po, nakakaexperiences din ba kayo ng sobrang kati-kati or nagpapantal sa last trimester nyo? Grabe lang din pantal ko kaya niresetahan na ko ng OB ko ng Cetirizine. Pero 3rd day na, until now makati padin 😭
Uy, totally relate, mama! The itching in the third trimester is real, a few of us had the same thing, and honestly it's one of those pregnancy things na sobrang annoying but usually normal din. Since your OB prescribed Cetirizine, it should help within a few days, pero if it's still super intense after a week or so, definitely check back with your doctor kasi sometimes they need to adjust or check kung may iba pang reason (like cholestasis, which is rare pero better safe). In the meantime, a lot of my mum friends swear by cold compress, loose cotton clothes, at avoiding hot showers, those really helped manage the discomfort habang naghihintay ang meds to kick in fully.
