Blood in Stool

Hello! Mommies, please help. Recently, nagpoop si LO na may blood. Pinacheck namin and niresetahan siya ng Lactose Free formula or Enfamil Gentlease. Mixed feed kasi si LO at that time. Nagpalab test (fecalysis) na rin and it turned out okay.I’ve decided na lang na iexclusive breastfeed si LO dahil diyan. Nagtake na siya ng probiotics (Bio Gaia) for 5 days as prescribed. Akala ko okay na kaso today meron na naman.Dadalhin ko ulit siya sa pedia niya bukas. For now, any advice? #pleasehelp #firsttimemom

Hay, mama, ang stressful talaga ng ganyan lalo na first time! Good call na you're going back to the pedia tomorrow because blood in stool kahit slight ay kailangan i-monitor closely, especially since it's happening again even after the formula switch. A few of us moms went through similar scares and honestly, the doc needs to see it in context, how frequent, kung gaano kadami, the color, para ma-rule out kung may underlying issue or kung food sensitivity pa lang talaga. Exclusive breastfeeding is great and the Bio Gaia is a good step, pero talagang kailangan ng professional guidance dito para ma-ease your mind and ma-ensure ang LO is okay. Fingers crossed for tomorrow's appointment, mama, you're doing everything right by taking it seriously!
