Actually retroverted uterus memang boleh jadi tricky untuk early scans, tapi most radiologists kena trained untuk handle ni, usually they'll adjust the angle or switch to transabdominal scan kalau TVS jadi difficult untuk detect the baby clearly at 5 weeks. A few of my mum friends dengan condition sama cerita the sonographer just took extra time, sometimes kena scan both ways, tapi at 5 weeks the pregnancy should still be detectable lah. Best thing is to mention to your radiologist or doctor that you have retroverted uterus so they expect it and ada the right approach from the start, way less stress untuk you both!
